3 more days until I start college, which means my 5 months of Summer is nearing its end. 😦 😦 However, I’m also excited to start a new chapter in my life. As I was conceptualising this blog post, I remembered my days in high school and grade school when teachers would ask us how our Summer was. I usually just came up with the usual things. But since I did have a pretty long break this year, I actually got to do more things than I usually would. And that’s what this post is all about.
In April, I went to the beach, and I haven’t gone there with friends for like over a year. I was so glad when me and my friends planned to go to one. We stayed there for 3 days, 2 nights. We left town pretty early and got to the resort around noon. We made a really bad decision to swim as soon as we got there. It was 12 o’clock, the sun was out and was so bright and I guess you already know what happened to our skin after a few hours. HAHA! We also went banana boating, it was my first time, and I didn’t plan to go on, but I was convince that it wouldn’t hurt to try. It was actually fun but it was still really scary though. We also hiked a little bit, and I almost slid down LOL.
In May, I spent it mostly with my mother and her friends. We went shopping and ate a lot. Also, one of my cousins came back from the US so she stayed with us for a few weeks cause of an emergency. We went shopping again especially for clothes for college. I also attended debuts during this month.
In June, me and my friends went to a place called Sandbox. It is located in Pampanga. It is a getaway for families that redefines outdoor adventure and fun. Basically there was this rollercoaster zipline, giant swing and the Aerial Walk challenge. We did the Aerial Walk first, and all I can say is that it was so tiring. I’m not one to really exercise but that was like a major workout. I’m not even kidding. Then we tried the rollercoaster zipline, that was the best if I had the chance to to do it again, I would. I felt like I was flying and that was probably one of the best feelings in the world. Lastly, we did the giant swing, it was relaxing but the first drop made me feel like I lost my intestines inside HAHAHA.
Also another highlight of June was #YTFF a.k.a. Youtube Fan Fest!!!!! Oh my god is all I could say. One of my dreams finally came true, I saw my beloved Youtubers. I wish that there would be a next one and there would be even more creators. I’m so happy that I got to witness that event with 2 of my friends who love Youtube as much as I do. I also got to win tickets for my niece who thought she wouldn’t be able to go. Oh and we also bumped into JASPOLI when they went down the elevator of the hotel. AHHHHH!!! MY FANGIRL HEART!!!
Okay, now for July, it was beach time once more. And I really needed that getaway. I got to spend 2 days with my friends whom I’d separating with due to different college choices. It was really fun to just take a break from reality and eat a lot, laugh a lot and just spend some quality time with each other. Oh and my brother’s family finally came back from the U.S. last June. I got to spend more time with them recently cause they weren’t during April & May.
And finally for August, it’s mostly just relaxing at home, spending time with my family and my dog. I also attended my college’s freshmen orientation last week and I have mixed feelings about it. But I know that when school starts, it’s gonna be a different experience but I just have to believe in myself and always know that God is there and he is watching over me. So here’s to Summer 2K15, to spending more time with friends and family, trying out a lot of new stuff, exploring places, eating more food, grasping reality and accepting the present.
P.S. I recently discovered a new app called Musical.ly, it’s new and it’s fun wherein you can lipsync to songs and stuff. Follow me if you want to hehe –> acttyl <–
